How The Northland Case Collectors Club Began
The first meeting was called in 2000 at Redwood Falls, Minnesota. It was decided at that meeting that there would be six states involved in this club. They are Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. It also was decided to have at least one annual meeting a year. Right now we have the meeting in Spring of each year. The club has seven officers that are elected for a three year term. Of them seven officers, a president, and a vice president is appointed. The treasurer and Secretary are ex-officio members.
Presently we have around 175 current paid members. We are gaining new members right along. It is great to see so many people interested in collecting Case items. With the membership dues of $15 per year, it helps provide the members with a newsletter four times a year. It is our main form of communication with all the members. We welcome all articles with or without pictures and we are now printing the newsletter in color.
